Patti A.Kronour, CKD
After earning a degree in interior design from Miami University, Patti Kronour became a CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) in 1990. With over twenty years experience in the kitchen and bath industry, Patti has won three National Design Awards.
Nationally recognized for her work, she was recruited to serve two years as Judge for NKBA’s (National Kitchen and Bath Association) National Design Competition. Her work has been featured in national publications as well as multiple Home Shows in Cincinnati.

Certified Kitchen Designer®
This certification is awarded by NKBA to those professionals that specialize in the design, planning, and execution of residential kitchens, and prove advanced knowledge of technical and personal communication skills required to succeed as a design specialist. A candidate must have a minimum of seven years experience to qualify to take the academic and design practicum required to earn this certification.
Laura A. Mueller, UDCP
After earning her degree in Residential Interior Design from The Ohio State University, Laura has worked as a designer in the remodeling industry for over seven years. In 2012, she became certified by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as a Universal Design Certified Professional (UDCP).

Universal Design Certified Professional
NARI Universal Design Certified Professionals are recognized as experienced remodelers with skills and knowledge in all aspects of universal design and remodeling. These individuals must be primarily engaged in remodeling, have a minimum of two years of continuous experience in the remodeling industry and adhere to NARI’s Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. They must also complete a minimum of 8 hours of universal design remodeling/building-related education or be enrolled in the NARI Universal Design course. Universal Design Certified Professionals have successfully completed a comprehensive application that details their background and experience, as well as a written examination addressing knowledge areas related to universal design fundamentals, client needs assessments, project design, construction techniques, electrical systems, plumbing systems and exterior universal design considerations.
